The main objective of the organization is to enable personal and professional development by enhancing non-formal education opportunities, in particular through:
– promoting innovative educational practices,
– spreading the idea of lifelong learning and promoting non-formal and informal education,
– fulfilling tasks in the field of continuous education of children, youth and adults from various subjects and in various forms,
– encouraging personal, professional and social development aimed at equalizing social and educational opportunities,- creating conditions for learning through experience, including the creation of apprenticeship places both in the office and in the field, which could help in developing personal skills and the acquisition of new competences.

Moreover, IDEA aims to fight the youth unemployment and to promote the improvement of soft skills and to meet the growing demand for transversal skills such as critical and innovative thinking, entrepreneurial mind-set and creativity by current employers.

Additionally, it is advocating for social inclusion and preventing the unemployment by fostering personal and vocational development of less favourable social groups as NEETs, persons with disabilities, people with poor social skills or rural unemployed youth and through local initiatives would like to increase the general public awareness of the needs of all vulnerable groups and especially with disadvantaged backgrounds and economic obstacles.

We organise our events both in the office and online, because of the pandemic situation but also we believe it is a convenient way for people that have no opportunities for attending face to face meetings.

Our team has got a vast experience gained at national level while implementing our local activities such as: organizing focus group meetings, workshops and other smaller events with the active involvement of local participants, experts and regional institutions representatives.

Doukas School

From 1994, Doukas Reseach & Development department has participated in the development of more than 100 funded projects, focusing in European and National

R&D projects (www.en.doukas.edu.gr/randd), and has coordinated extensive European Networks (SchoolontheCloud.eu) under programmes such as Erasmus+, and Lifelong Learning Programme, HORIZON 2020.

AEDE (Association Européenne des Enseignants)

AEDE was founded by a group of teachers from Germany, Belgium, France and Italy on the 8th July 1956 at a Congress held in Paris and was attended by teachers from all over Europe.

The founder teachers realized that the road leading to European Union would be long and it was therefore important to set in train a movement requiring a clear, patient but determined commitment over several generations.

Nowadays AEDE is a network of more than 10,000 teachers, heads, inspectors and officials in 21 national sections, from nursery school to university level. AEDE welcomes teachers and schools throughout Europe who wish to work together and collaborates with European and national institutions – EU Commission, EU Parliament, the Council of Europe, other organizations pursuing the same objectives: to create an awareness of European identity, based on common values, history and culture, fostering the European Literacy and committed citizenship.

To carry out its objectives, AEDE produces and makes available to teachers, principals, inspectors and teachers of its various national sections material for reflection and research, organizes workshops, studies and training seminars at national and international level.

Its goal is to give a better chance to preserve our European culture and to strengths more our principles of democracy, tolerance, freedom and equality through education.

PROPEL Europe is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering

Europeans to shape a better future for themselves, the environment they live in, their local economies, their fellow Europeans and their fellow citizens of the world. Quality Culture provides training programmes specifically designed to improve participants’ digital and entrepreneurial skills and it delivers career coaching sessions in order to support unemployed young people to enter the job market.
